Star Light Academy Celebrates Children’s Cultural Day 2026
The atmosphere at Star Light Academy, Atan Ota, Ogun State, was filled with color, music, and excitement as students celebrated Children’s Cultural Day 2026. The event showcased Nigeria’s rich cultural diversity through traditional dances, songs, and attire representing various ethnic groups.
From the vibrant Yoruba bata dance to the graceful Igbo ajo egwu, students proudly displayed their heritage while learning the importance of unity in diversity. Teachers and parents joined in the celebration, cheering as each class presented cultural performances that reflected creativity and teamwork.
The highlight of the day was the Cultural Parade, where students dressed in traditional outfits symbolizing different tribes across Nigeria, reminding everyone that “Knowledge is Light” and culture is the soul of education.
